The exhibition dedicated to the great Italian composer on the occasion of the 100 year anniversary of his death enabled a large audience to participate in an unique event. For the first time ever, the cultural heritage held in the Archivio Storico Ricordi was shown to the public in a wide and systematic way. In addition to the autograph letters, set designs and Verdi’s autograph score, the entire publishing process of that era was documented and put on display.
